Arvin Boolell, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade of the period, visited our country on February 5-8, 2013. Within the framework of the visit, Foreign Minister Boolell met with our former Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.”

Turkey, within the framework of Türkiye Scholarships, provides scholarships for university education to the students from Mauritius. The number of students Turkey has provided scholarships since 1992 is 54.
Within the framework of the International Junior Diplomats Training Program, organized by the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 4 junior diplomats from Mauritius have been hosted so far.
Turkish Airlines has direct flights from İstanbul to Mauritius since 2015, which contributes to the further development of bilateral relations in all fields.
