A few months ago, it was my mom’s birthday, and I wanted to surprise her, as she is turning 55 years old, and she’s already feeling down because she is getting old. I used to buy her clothes, jewelry, and bags, or even take her out for dinner or to watch a moving or a play.
But this year, I wanted to make her happier, so I decided to take her to do plastic surgery on her face. I didn’t know exactly what procedure to choose, so I took a picture of her and went to Novomed centers in Dubai to consult a plastic surgeon and get his help.
The doctor checked my mom’s picture, and he told me that a surgical facial rejuvenation could be useful in her case. He explained that during this surgery, he will perform a mid-face lift and a neck lift. Because the main wrinkles and fine lines appear between her face and neck, and her cheeks already lost their volume. So the mid-face lift will enhance the lower part of her face, and the neck lift will make her neck looks younger.
I was very excited and booked an appointment for my mom to see the doctor. On her birthday, I took a day off from work and accompanied my mom to the doctor. At first, she didn’t understand, but when she saw the plastic surgeon, she was surprised and happy.
The doctor explained everything to her and showed her some pictures of his patients, who had the same case as her, and the results were really great. So she agreed and scheduled a day to do the surgery.
On the surgery day, my mom was at the same time excited and worried. She couldn’t believe that she is really going to have plastic surgery. We went to Novomed hospital, the doctor and his team were waiting for us, the nurses helped her to get prepared, meanwhile, I was waiting with the doctor in front of her room, then they took her to the surgery.
In total, I waited for her for like 2 hours, then they told me she was in the intensive care waiting for her to wake up. Once she is ready, they took her to her room, and she was a little bit tired but it is normal due to anesthesia.
The doctor visited her room, ensured us that the surgery was successful, and gave us some instructions to get a safe and fast recovery. Now, after 6 months, my mom can’t stop smiling while looking at herself in the mirror.
