How much does floor sanding cost?
Yes, what does Gulvafslibning really cost? The answer to that question and thus your final price depends on several things. A rule of thumb is that prices for floor sanding per. m2 are around DKK 100 incl. VAT. With that price in mind, however, you need to include these and other factors in your assessment:
Condition of the floor: If your floor is much worn, you may need to spend more time on the task, e.g. in the form of extra sanding or a floor planing if the floor is much damaged.
Type of floor / type of wood: Some types of wood require special work processes, while others are simply treated in a completely traditional way. Like the type of wood, there is also a difference in whether you e.g has plank floors, parquet floors or slatted floors.
If you have a specific floor task and therefore want to know what floor sanding costs, we can easily give you a non-binding price, so you have something to relate to.
What does floor planing cost?
A floor planing and floor sanding are similar in many areas, as it is the same factors as in the previous section that affects the price. It also matters whether there is varnish or putty on your floor.
A rule of thumb is that you can put an additional DKK 50 ex. VAT for the price of floor planing, as a planing is a more comprehensive and ‘coarser’ treatment than a sanding. An important thing to add, moreover, is that the final price of your flooring task also depends on your choice of finishing. This is because there are different choices, each with their own advantages.
