Today, March 8th, 2018 is International Womens Day! A day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women from all over the world!
At Norwest Medical Imaging we understand that women have unique health care concerns and cultural preferences. Our staff, which includes our team of specialist radiologists, radiographers, mammographers and sonographers are dedicated to providing excellence in women’s healthcare. We are sensitive to the needs of Women and this is why 81% of our staff are female.
We are very proud that one of our Partners and Specialist Radiologists, Dr Pradnya Dugal (MBBS FRANZCR) as well as other Female Radiologists attend our practice regularly to ensure that our female patient’s can request a female doctor for their interventional procedures.
Dr Pradnya Dugal is a dual radiology gold medalist. She was trained through Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, and has fellowship experience at New York University and Thomas Jefferson University in the USA, particularly in cardiac, musculoskeletal and Women’s imaging.
