Flowers are the best way to express feelings. Their aroma and brightness instantly cheer you up. Each of us has our own preferences when choosing plants. However, from all the diversity that exists in the world, one can single out some of the most beautiful flowers in the world that are distinguished by their special beauty and grace.
Star lilies
Beautiful, royal flowers that are easy to place in your garden. The inflorescence fully opens, which is why it resembles a six-pointed star from above. The shades of the flower can be very different, but the pinkish-cream speckled is most appreciated – it looks the most interesting. The smell of lilies is gentle, heady. These plants are well suited for making bouquets.
Canna – the most beautiful flowers in the world
China, America and India – in these countries the plant is found in the wild, and it is cultivated all over the world. Tall spike-shaped red flowers on an almost reed stem delight with long flowering, but the leaves are no less decorative – they are large, oblong, and can have different shades from bronze to dark green with marsh.
Parrot beak
This bright orange-to-yellow flower truly resembles the beaks of parrots perched alternately on a tall stem. A very ornamental plant that grows in warm and tropical climates, it can be grown at home, but cultivation presents some difficulties.
Red Cymbidium
This orchid is found in both white and pink, but it was the red color of the flowers that was captured in the name, since they look the most impressive. Flowering lasts almost a month, while the plant is not demanding on temperature and can grow in such conditions in which other orchids will die. The aroma of cymbidium is light, intoxicating and very pleasant.
Bleeding heart
This unusual plant with long branches dotted with heart-shaped red flowers immediately catches the eye. Flowers can be white, pink, lilac, but always gentle tones. For pollination, the inflorescence produces a pistil and stamens from below. The flower itself looks like a heart on a stem, and the color is quite appropriate for a romantic gift.
Crocus (saffron)
Charming primroses of blue, purple, white and yellow bloom when the ground is still quite cold. They may well bloom surrounded by snow on small thawed patches. When grown on an industrial scale, these plants are used to prepare spices – saffron is made from crocus stamens.
Campion – the most beautiful flowers in the world
A small wild plant, which, after its loss, was rediscovered on the rocks of Gibraltar. Pink single flowers are very delicate and interesting in appearance.
Lantana
Verbena herbaceous plant that blooms with white, bright yellow, orange, red and terracotta flowers. Lantana can decorate a flower bed, but for the winter these flowers are dug up and brought into the house – they do not withstand frost. However, some varieties may feel fine with slight frosts.
Magnolia
A majestic tree whose flowers bloom on bare brown branches and exude fragrance every spring. Grown in the southern regions in botanical gardens around the world. In some countries it is valued as a sacred tree.
Ghost orchid
All members of the family parasitize on trees, but that orchid does not have leaves, so flowers immediately hang from the bark. I call it a ghost because it is almost impossible to notice it – the color of the inflorescences is rarely white, more often it merges with a shade of bark and acts as its continuation.
Plumeria
This shrub has leathery dense leaves and waxy flowers that look artificial but are highly decorative. In warm climates and with suitable humidity, it grows very quickly and can easily cross the 2 meter growth limit. Therefore, when grown at home, the plant is pruned. In tropical countries, it can grow in gardens, arboretums and along roads. Incredibly beautiful flowers have five petals of white-yellow or pink color.
Rafflesia Arnold
Nobody gives this truly huge flower as a present and does not plant it on the home plot. Rafflesia has a decorative appearance, but the smell exudes more than repulsive – spoiled meat. Rafflesia is a rare and endangered plant that parasitizes other plants in tropical forests. May be found in botanical gardens. It blooms for only a few days, and the bud ripens for more than six months.
Strongylodon large corpus
Liana, called Jade, comes from the Philippines, but is actively cultivated in warm regions to decorate arbors, fences and houses. Flower brushes hang down, their length reaches one meter, and the color resembles a weak solution of brilliant green. But its specificity does not end there – only bats pollinate the jade vine, feeding on the nectar of this plant.

Black petunia
A unique variety of black petunia will delight the owner with abundant flowering throughout the summer until frost. Delicate velvety flowers have a pleasant light fragrance, and the cultivation of the black variety is no different from other varieties of petunias.
Chocolate space – the most beautiful flowers in the world
This interesting plant with chocolate-black flowers is called kosmeya, and in Latin the name sounds like cosmos. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was almost lost forever – if several scientists had not collected seeds from the last specimen of this species, we would not have been able to enjoy the flowering of this plant. But even now, the possession of such a flower is considered a kind of luxury, since the seeds are not cheap.
Borage
An interesting plant with a pronounced cucumber aroma of leaves and stems is quite edible, its delicate blue and pink flowers often decorate both vegetable dishes and confectionery.
There are so many unusual plants in the world that it is very difficult to put them on a separate list. In fact, we have not described even a tenth of all the natural splendor of the plant world, so you can always learn about new flowers, which are also considered the most beautiful. Many of the representatives of this rating are not suitable for cutting, and some are not even cultivated by humans, but one thing is clear – these are plants that are unique in their kind both in appearance and in characteristics.
