Unlike in U.S. Domestic Passport Agents, there is no US passport renewal processing that is accelerated abroad at the U.S. Embassy. Therefore, it is important for you to apply for a U.S. passport before the scheduled trip. At the US Karachi Consulate, it takes around 7-14 days to process the U.S. Passport renewal.
You can pay the application fee online at e-Services Portal using a credit/debit card. Can I pay with someone else’s credit/debit card? You can also pay by someone else’s credit/debit card, but not without consent of the card owner.
