What kind of coverage options do I have for auto insurance?

auto-insurance

Auto Insurance is a necessity in any country where you drive a car. The cost of auto insurance ranges from an affordable price to an absolute need. Farmers Auto Insurance can provide you with affordable insurance at a low rate. In the past, farmers and ranchers have been the ones to provide the insurance coverage for their livestock.

However, in the future, it’s an auto insurance company that will be providing the coverage for these same farmers and ranchers. This is one reason why insurance agents have started to focus on food security, because they realize that the more farms that are out of production, the more food there is in circulation, and the greater the amount of collisions and other accidents involving vehicles.

We at Farmers Insurance and our Agency see it as our job to help you understand the coverage options you have. Here are some general descriptions of the auto insurance coverages that are available to you. Feel free to contact us at any time if you’d like to review your coverage options!

What is liability coverage and property damage coverage? (Liability)

  • Liability is how much we would pay if you hurt someone or damage someone’s property (the most common example is if you hit and damage someone’s car).
  • The more coverage you have, the less likely you are to pay out of pocket to pay for the other party’s injuries or property damage.
  • This coverage is required by law to drive and also to register your car.

What is comprehensive coverage?
