In their platform for game-based learning, Blooket enables teachers to design games that students can use. In addition to giving students games as assignments, you can host games for them using a randomly generated ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blooket functions in the same manner as other game-based learning tools, such as Kahoot and Quizlet. Quizizz and Quizalize. You can either create your own question sets, or you can use pre-made sets made by other members of the Blooket Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The games are free to students, but they do not require them to register.Playing the games does not require registration from the students. However, a student account allows them to track their stats and place in global leaderboard rankings. They can also buy and sell Blooks and take part in community-wide events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enhance teaching and student learning, teachers can use Blooket’s educational potential. Gamified learning is a great way to increase student participation and drive engagement. There are many ways that Blooket can be used in your teaching. You can use question sets to assess students’ learning and help them plan for remedial work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To test students’ knowledge, you can create question sets. These questions can be used to check student learning progress, assess their prior knowledge, or as exit tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blooket’s operation is very simple. Blooket works by allowing teachers to host live games that have a unique game mode. Students join the play with generated game IDs. Students can also be assigned learning games by teachers so they can work at their own pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is How to Make a Question Set in Blooket :<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Log in to your teacher account, then click on “Create a Set” to create a question set. Enter a title and a brief description for your game. You can edit the settings to suit your needs. Your game must be made public for students to access. Next, decide how you will add questions to your game. You can either start from scratch (manual), import Quizlet questions, or import them from an Excel spreadsheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After students have added questions, you can add answers to the game and set a time limit. Next, choose whether or not to turn on the Random Answer Order (when the answers are given in random order to students).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Do You Host a Live Game For Your Students?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can either use Blooket<\/a> library games or create your own games to host a live gaming session. Click on “Host” and select a game mode from the available options. Then click on Assign. There are two types of game modes: one that only supports homework, and another that supports both live hosting. You can choose from Gold Quest, Fishing Frenzy and Crypto Hack to support live hosting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have selected a game mode, you can edit its settings as you wish. To control when the game ends, you have two choices: either click on Time to choose a time or select Cash to make the game end after a player has reached the cash amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other settings can be customized, such as whether student accounts are allowed, late joining, random name, etc. Once you’re done, click Host Now. Students will see a game ID on the screen that they can use to play the game online. You can also copy and email the Join link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Do I Assign a Question As Homework to Students?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is a great way for students to learn self-paced by assigning them question sets as homework. You can assign question sets to students by choosing one of your games, or from the Blooket library. Click on Host to open one of these games. Next, choose one of these game modes to support homework assignments: Factory or Tower of Doom. Click on Assign HW. Next, set the due date, give a title for the assignment, then edit the game mode options according to your choice. Finally, click on Assign HW. You can copy the code generated and share it with your students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blooket Library:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Blooket<\/a> library allows you to search for and locate ready-made question sets that can be used with your students. Click on Discovery in the top bar of your dashboard to access the library. You can search for keywords and phrases by entering them in the search bar. Then browse the collections. Blooket’s search functionality doesn’t include useful filters like (subject, grade or topic), which you can use to locate specific games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filtering your search can be limited to minimum questions and answers, cover image, and minimum questions. Click to open the question sets that interest you. Then you can choose to host them or just play them. You can add them to your favourites list or make duplicates to save them for later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stats:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Blooket’s Stats feature allows teachers to track student progress and gain insight into their performance. Blooket provides detailed game history reports that can be used to track student progress over time. These reports can be used to assess students’ learning progress, identify learning problems, and plan for future learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blooket Subscriptions:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Blooket has two subscription plans. One is a free plan that offers limited options, and the other is a premium plan that includes more features. You can create unlimited question sets and host games with up to 60 players (1,000 for Plus members, except Racing and Battle Royale Teams ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
