Apple Update: Increasing Prices of App Store

Apple has never released a substandard and cheap product in its history of sales; however, now it is coming up with entry-level iPhone and iPad models, that too just as a marketing stunt. The prices of iPhone models, iPad series, and upcoming M2 MacBooks are getting out of budget due to the vast investment in technology planned by Apple Inc. According to the latest Apple News, the billion-revenue brand will increase the paid-subscription apps on Apple App Store!

The Main Reason Behind this Rapid Increase

Since the world economy has faced a sudden exchange rate, prices for nearly everything have exceeded budgets throughout the countries. It includes European territories, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and other countries, including Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, and Japan. The currencies are falling against the dollar even though the Euro has reached parity with the dollar! That means €1 is equivalent to $1, which has never happened in the last two decades!

The revolution of the technology dimension will never end but will only go higher as it is happening today. Some brands have become close to unaffordable for millions worldwide! This change is mainly for the countries where the Euro is payable outside the US.

 Any Other Reasons by Apple?

The brand has not explicitly mentioned any reason, but Apple users have assumed it is the fluctuating currency due to the world’s economic turbulence. Apple has posted a blog that says that the subscription, which cost €0.99will now cost €1.99, and so on. The subscriptions will be collected directly in euros instead of cents, which have closely lost worth in front of higher-grossing companies.

Was the App Store Expensive Before?

Apple devices, gadgets, and wearables were the most expensive. The App store was a mixture of all free, paid, and in-app purchases within the application, just like Google Play Store. However, one thing most users do not know about is Apple Store and App Store prices are set against the United States dollar bill. The cheapest price range Apple app developer can put up is $0.99 because even he has to pay a $99 annual fee.

Apple will be charging extra money for apps with monthly, annual, and in-app subscriptions by 5th October next month!

Is Apple Worth it?

People mostly buy iPhones and buy iPads due to a mindset of having the best technology among users or, worse, the status-conscious cage that keeps the brand users stuck on a single platform for ages! Letting go of such harsh truths, Apple is worth it due to far exclusive technology and OSes. It earned its name back when Apple computers on sale used to be “Big News.” Since 2019, Apple has increased the price rates of nearly all recent launches due to powerful chipsets, hardcore processors, metals like titanium in their design, and global technology.

Summary
