Cambridge IGCSE: Everything You Need to Know

Singapore is a stable and prosperous hub for many reputed international schools. Cambridge IGCSE is the most popular curriculum, which is meant for 14 to 16-year-olds, leading to globally recognized Cambridge IGCSE qualifications. Cambridge IGCSE Assessment:

IGCSE assessment takes place at the end of the course and can include oral, written, practical and coursework assessments. There is a wide range of subjects that you can choose from and the grades are set and assigned with the use of 8 internationally recognized grades A* to G.

The examinations are conducted twice a year in June and November and the results are declared in August and January respectively.

The IGCSE lays good foundation for the IB Diploma Programme (DP)

The IGCSE is designed to be a preparation for further higher international studies, such as the IB Diploma Programme, and entry into recognized international universities. It has been observed that students who have done the IGCSE tend to have a very solid understanding of the foundational concepts required to build on the IB DP.

In terms of content knowledge, IGCSE lays an excellent foundation for the IB Diploma programme and also the students get an experience with exam conditions.
