How should you prepare?
A boudoir session is a celebration of your body, so I don’t recommend any kind of extreme diet or exercise regimens. You are beautiful the way you are, your partner will want to see you as the person he or she knows you to be. If you have doubts, we can advise you on the poses that work best to show your favorite parts of your body.
However, you can prepare yourself a bit to look like the best version of yourself. A good pre-session skin care regimen is the best way to feel confident.
Do I need to book a hairdressing and makeup service?
I would always recommend getting your hair and makeup done professionally for the shoot ; it really helps enhance the experience and makes it feel more special. A professional will also be able to give you that polished look you want for your session.
If you want you can use your own hair and makeup service, they can also be available throughout the session in case you want to change your hairstyles and wear different outfits.

How to choose the location for the boudoir session?
The setting for a boudoir photo session will help create the right mood and tone for the images. We will work so that you feel comfortable and sexy, so that sensuality can be appreciated in the photos. We have different options to carry out the session. My recommendation is that you choose a place where you are most comfortable.
If you prefer to carry out the session in your own home, I will be delighted and we will see the possibilities that it offers us. In these cases, I recommend having the house collected, and trying to carry out the session in the room with the most light and space.
Some women even like to go to a luxury hotel suite or take advantage of a weekend in an AirB&B apartment for the occasion. Essentially, it’s up to you, and the environment that makes you feel most comfortable.
How to prepare the photo session?
I always recommend taking 3 different looks in the day for variety, so be prepared to bring a minimum of 3 outfits/options. Many women choose to bring more than that, so there are a few options on the day. Like some brides I’ve worked with, you may want to bring your wedding night veil, garter, and lingerie so you have some beautiful photos to mark the occasion. You may also consider shooting in gorgeous heels or even your wedding heels.
Before the session, try on a few outfits to determine what you feel most comfortable and sexy in. Pose in front of a mirror in the different outfits to make sure you can move and get the look you want. Come with loose clothing to the session so that your skin is free of marks,
Before the boudoir session we will work with an inspiration board on Pinterest about how you hope the photos will look. Glamorous boudoir photos or maybe you want a more natural look, this could determine the makeup and style.

Perhaps one of the most challenging aspects of the boudoir photo shoot is how to pose to make yourself look sexy and gorgeous. Because everyone’s body and comfort level are different, maintaining strong communication with your client is key. We’ll talk through each pose and do the session collaboratively to create forceful boudoir shots.
